Learning tips (critical thinking)
Critical thinking
You know that learning in a classroom is different from learning in a digital learning environment. In face-to-face instruction your teacher provides you ready-made knowledge chunks which you need to memorize. In a digital learning environment, you do not have a teacher, consequently you need to construct new knowledge by using all available sources of information. Of course, it does not mean that you can paste and copy ‘ready’ answers you find on the Web. You need to have well developed critical thinking skills to construct new knowledge.

Critical thinking skills can be developed if you always ask yourself before uploading or handing in an assignment or test the following questions:
- Why do I believe this?
- Can I list examples?
- What facts support this?
- What facts support the opposite?
