You might have heard the phrase "When (you're) in doubt". It's been used and re-used by politicians, famous people, newspapers, etc. over the last years. It simply implies that when you have doubts that you should go and check on them.

Here are some scenarios that might help you with your situation:

You are sure that you want to work in a specific professional field, but you are not sure in which area? Well, there are plenty of helpful online-tests that will ask you the right questions to get you reflecting and thinking. Here is a great self-test for the professional field "care".

You are not even sure which direction to go? First, review the unit "Competencies". In order to know which profession you should go in, you have to know your skills and competencies. If you are not even sure about your competencies, maybe you should take this test or this assessment. It is important to mention, that you should not take the results as a direct instruction to go into this field. It is simply a suggestion. Review the results and compare them to your interests and skills.

The first options are not the right approach for you? In that case, you should get in touch with others. Either you talk to your friends and relatives that really know you or you check on individual expert approaches, e.g. blogs, podcasts or talks. 

To clarify our position towards the implemented links and tests. We see that these sources have a polarizing component and are not entirely scientifically correct. Nonetheless, we see the value of the offered questions. Some questions might work some people but not for others, therefore we decided to use those self-tests to get you and others to think.
