Guide for prospective volunteers created by students

Developing and creating a source of essential information about international volunteering programmes with the aim to define methods of information monitoring and searching, create own profile for projects application, accumulate and combine previous experience for future career aspiration, education or further occupation.


Group work for developing the topics during lessons1-4.

1.     Research on volunteering opportunities for youth

2.     Analysis of volunteering activities in a chosen programme 

3.     The basic and introductive parts of motivation letter are prepared 

4.     Developing a personal learning plan based on chosen volunteering activity 


Each group collected a different type of content according to the chosen topic (text, photos, video, infographics etc ). References should be provided. 
Assessment point: teamwork, collaboration, communication, planning, leadership

Your part of the common blog should include:
Topic and development of this topic which includes different content.

Criteria for content assessment according to four abovementioned topics:

1.     Presentation of programmes for young people abroad (1 point). Reflecting on programme goals, personal mission within volunteering (5 points). Developing advantages and disadvantages of taking project abroad (4 points)

2.     Analyzing of volunteering activities in a chosen programme (5 points). Developing advantages and disadvantages of taking a project (5 points)

3.     Draft of motivation letter is prepared (3 points). Providing peer review (4 points) and developing criteria for powerful motivation letter (3 points)

4.     Developing personal learning plan (5 points). Providing advises for designing  the learning goals  (5 points)
